Personal Advisory, The Cool Way To Care

There’s a new smell of ‘cool’ around the corner and turns out that it’s not only cool, it’s super fly. Give a round of applause to a new urban streetwear label: Personal Advisory, an urban apparel meets underground advocacy agency and manufacturer. The t-shirts preserve heroes and advocating global social issues in a way that would surely turn heads.
Personal Advisory was launched in March 2008 and have been working to eradicate propaganda, raise awareness and reveal true headlines to the masses through their designs. Nnamdi Arinze, founder of Personal Advisory stated:
“I feel this is something that people have been waiting to connect with, even if it is on a t-shirt level.”
It has just been a year since its release, and the urban markets in New York, Atlanta, London and Johannesburg have been eying the Personal Advisory collection and over 200 boutiques worldwide have been targeted with wholesale packages, not to mention the brand’s achievement in exceeding their original forecast of 1,000 pieces sold in less than a year.
Nnamdi Arinze believes that t-shirts are not only a form of medium to express one’s personality, they are also mediums to deliver messages and support causes. He stated:
“My goal is to opt apparel as a medium for advocacy and preservation of music, revolution, love, heroes, hypocrisy spirituality, the forgotten and unknown, but all in a smart and fashionable way.”
So far Personal Advisory has been spotted worn by hip hop artists Stic Man of Dead Prez hip hop duo and Broadway star Sahr Ngaujah of Fela Kuti. Now for only $25 a pop, you too can send your message in a fly way with these SoJones-approved t-shirts from Personal Advisory. Show you care and get them from
